This video presents award-winning journalist Bill Moyers in a conversation with Oren Lyons, chief of the Turtle Clan of the Onondagon Nation. Native American traditions and keepers of the old ways still flourish in the tribal nations within the borders of the United States. Chief Lyons relates some of the stories of his tribe regarding the relationship between humans and nature. The two men discuss the heritage of Native Americans and the importance their mutual respect for all species has for the future of the environment.
