Synopsis by Phil Griffin
Set in Russia, this film directed by Yury Bykov who also wrote the screenplay, centers on the ongoing drama that surrounds local oligarch Konstantine Kalugine (Andrey Smolyakov). Having recently bought and then closed a working factory that gave employment to many blue-collar workers in the area, the workers rebel under the guidance of Alexei (Denis Shvedov) by kidnapping Kalugine. Fast realising they are out of their depth with the heist falling apart, the workers soon discover the oligarch has links to the KGB, making all their future's uncertain. Cinematography by Vladimir Ushakov.
