Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Hollywood's Evelyn Brent brightened the proceedings of the pedestrian British silent The Experiment. Brent and her future Underworld co-star Clive Brook play a pair of newlyweds-to-be. When it looks though Brent will reject Brook's wealthy family in favor of a military officer, Brook tries to win her back by posing as a humble chauffeur. Nothing new here, not even in 1922: it's all in how it's done, and it's done quite well. The Experiment was adapted from a novel by Ethel M. Dell.
