Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this silent film, a divinity student (Alexander Gaden) is unable to curb his chronic gambling. Only the love of his sweetheart (Lucille Taft) prevents him from losing his faith. The finale finds our hero persuasively preaching before an enthralled congregation (a neat trick in a silent film).
