Season two of The Dead Zone finds psychic Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) still reeling from the visions of a nuclear holocaust brought about by shaking hands with ambitious Congressional candidate Greg Stillson (Sean Patrick Flanery). But before he can act upon this chilling premonition, Johnny must use his talents to rescue the kidnapped son of a billionaire. It turns out that the boy's captor, Bible-obsessed Francis Ritter (Eric Schaeffer), is convinced that Johnny is the reincarnation of Daniel the Prophet -- and is determined to prove this conviction, even if innocent blood must be shed in the process.
