As part of his mission to prevent the mass marketing of an anti-wrinkle cream that will cause birth defects, Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) tries to locate Thomas Berke (David Julian Hirsh), the doctor destined to prove beyond all doubt that the cream is dangerous. Working together with reporter Dana (Kristen Dalton), Johnny plays matchmaker between Berke and his future wife, Claire (Stacy Grant), knowing that their union will result in the deformed child that will spark Berke's investigation. But upon finding out what is in store for her, Claire has no intention of fulfilling her part of the prophecy.
