The Bobby Currier Story is a 90-minute episode from the TV series Name of the Game. The titular Currier (Brandon de Wilde) is a young, small-town perennial loser. He kidnaps Tisha Sterling, daughter of local sheriff Steve Forrest, and goes on a Charles Starkweather-style murder spree. Dan Farrell (Robert Stack), senior editor of Crime magazine, tries to unearth the circumstances that turned the hapless Currier into a murderer. The Bobby Currier Story was first broadcast February 21, 1969.
