A belly dancer at a seedy club gets caught in a romantic triangle following a botched robbery. Sultry Debbie has the customers at Goldy's under her spell when a robbery gone awry leaves them awash in valuable Judaica. Convinced her windfall is a sign from above, Debbie turns the club into a synagogue while scheming Yaki serves hard time for fencing stolen goods. Meanwhile, Debbie awakens the faithful side in Goldy, who convinces her to stop dancing. When Yaki gets out of prison and sees what's become of his beloved Debbie, he vows to charm her away from Goldy, and get her back on her feet.
