Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The 60-minute children's film Battle of Billy's Pond features Ben Buckton and Linda Robson. The story involves two young anglers who have spent many a pleasant afternoon at their favorite fishing hole. One day, they discover that the pond has been polluted. With little if any help from adults, the kids try to track down the folks responsible for this ecological outrage. Battle of Billy's Pond was first telecast March 26, 1977, as an episode of PBS' Once Upon a Classic.
