Synopsis by Ronnie D. Lankford, Jr.

In the first segment of the program, host Michael Moore has learned that a hospital is planning to initiate a new program called work care. The program would allow patients to work for the hospital if they could not afford treatment. Moore decides to start his own program as a test project. He sets up a M*A*S*H-style tent, hires a doctor and nurses, and then enlists a number of patients with various ailments. Each patient is assigned a job -- peeling potatoes, shining shoes, washing the ambulance, and autographing Moore's photos -- to pay for his or her treatment. Next, Moore institutes an ongoing segment of The Awful Truth called "I See Lucy." In it, a web camera has been aimed at Lucianne Goldberg's apartment. Since she encouraged Linda Tripp to tape Monica Lewinsky, Moore reasons, she will not mind the invasion of privacy. In the final segment, Moore instigates a charitable program to collect donations of televisions for the TV-deprived fundamentalists of Afghanistan.
