Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Astrid Bussink's documentary The Angelmakers looks at the strange history of a Hungarian village known as Nagyrev. While at first the citizens appear to be part of the average humdrum community, they soon begin to reveal the town's dark secret. In 1929, a number of the town's women murdered their husbands. The fallout from these incidents still hangs over the town, as well as the relationships between men and women.
