Written and directed by scenarist C. Gardner Sullivan and (he claimed) producer Thomas H. Ince, this typical two-reel Western melodrama featured Ann Little as an Indian maiden sacrificing her own life to save the cavalry lieutenant (Harold Lockwood) she loves. Little, perhaps Hollywood's finest horsewoman of her day, retired from films in 1923 to manage the landmark Hollywood hotel, the Chateau Marmont.
