Synopsis

'TW3,' as it was called, was a snappy blend of political satire and irreverent music numbers. A range of current events, religion, civil rights, social issues and more were all lampooned in skits and songs (composed primarily by Tom Lehrer) with titles like 'Smut,' 'Pollution,' 'The Folk Song Army,' 'National Brotherhood Week' and 'The Vatican Rag.' Its performers included Nancy Ames, Alan Alda and Buck Henry. David Frost was featured on both the original British series and the U.S. version.
