The hypocritical patriarch of a large Sicilian family preaches the virtues of self control, while in reality he and his clan engage in debauchery, gluttony, and greed. Adapted from a novel by Ercole Patti, That Splendid November (Un Bellissima Novembre) was released in the US in 1971, three years after it made the European theatrical rounds.
