Synopsis by Robert Firsching
The disappointing seventh film in this popular series of rape-thrillers, which began with Jokousei Tenshi No Harawata (1978), is once again directed by its creator, Takashi Ishii. The plot concerns Nami, the wife of a narcotics cop murdered in the line of duty. Nami is surprised to find that her husband, rather than being buried with honors, has been accused of involvement in organized crime. To clear his name, Nami goes undercover but is soon the victim of a brutal gang-rape which causes her to attempt suicide. She is saved by a cop named Muraki (Jinpachi Nezu), and they begin to work together to solve the case. Ishii's film is dark and moody, with a cruel twist ending which is nevertheless completely predictable.
