In this futuristic anime TV series, hostile aliens that look like insects have set their sights on invading the planet. As part of its defense, Earth builds a giant space station that encircles the world in the shape of a ring. A young man called D-Boy, by his involvement with the space station, becomes able to battle the aliens in mecha form, usually in space, outside the confines of a ship or space station.
