Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Why has that notorious tightwad Ted Baxter (Ted Knight) suddenly gone on a spending spree? The answer: Ted is luxuriating in a 6,000-dollar tax refund, and never mind that he doesn't deserve it. Inevitably, Ted's euphoria turns to stark, raw fear when, after spending his last ill-gotten penny, he is audited by the IRS. "Ted's Tax Refund" made its first network appearance not on April 15, but instead on November 29, 1975.
