Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
At a film-shoot, the young boy in this film makes friends with a very large dog, a Newfoundland. Since he sees very little of his parents, he wants the dog as a playmate. However, he lives in a housing block where dogs are even less welcome than children. Up to now, he has avoided playing with the local children, a rowdy, bullying group, but his dog wins him friends among them, and the other kids help him conceal the otherwise unacceptable pooch.
