When a globe-trotting adventurer is forced to present a special gift to the princess of an ancient tribe in order to get permission to research the people, a young boy's life is forever changed in this fantasy adventure from director Kazuyuki Hirokawa. Hibio never really knew his mother; her worldly travels made it far too difficult to be a mother to a growing boy. Now his mother is researching a tribe that few outsiders have had the privilege to study, but in order to gain total access to the clan she must offer something truly meaningful in exchange for the knowledge she is about to gain. When Hibio arrives home one school one day to discover a princess who is waiting to spirit him away as her new husband, Hibio discovers that he himself is the offering. It's not going to be all posh castles and endless riches though, because in this strange new world, there are many obstacles between this beautiful princess and true happiness.
