Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This was the second action-packed picture to feature ex-Douglas Fairbanks stunt double Richard Talmadge as a star. Talmadge plays a fast-talking, fast-acting book salesman who not only sells his company's latest volume to millionaire James Arlington (Percy Challenger), he also convinces Arlington to hire him as his personal secretary. Talmadge falls in love with the daughter of his new boss, Mildred (Zella Gray), who is also being pursued by Jose Borquez (Elmer Dewey). But Borquez really wants to take over Arlington's corporation and is merely using Mildred as a ploy. At a fancy ball, Talmadge overhears the plot, which involves keeping Arlington out of New York for a time so that Borquez and his associates can ruin him financially. Talmadge sets out to stop them but he is kidnapped. Somehow he manages to get away in time to save Arlington's fortune and he gives Borquez the thrashing he deserves. Along the way, he wins Mildred's hand. Talmadge would have a lively career playing athletic all-American types in action pictures until the sound era revealed his thick German accent.
