Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Two down-and-out singers inherit the care of two children who return to Denmark from the United States. After spending their early years abroad with a wealthy aunt, the children discover their new guardians are the poorer relations in the family. The state welfare system takes the children away before they return triumphantly with a marching band to the slums of Nokken. Axel Stroebye and Paul Bundgaard star as the two poor singers with hearts of gold who help the lovable moppets.
