Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Nancy Croyden (Violet Mersereau), the daughter of an English nobleman (James O'Neill), runs off with her father's groom (Bradley Barker). Their daughter, Susan (Mersereau again), grows up in a New York slum. She meets and falls in love with Tom Neville (Sidney Mason), who has escaped to America after being falsely accused of a murder. The police hunt down Tom and arrest him. Meanwhile the groom dies and Susan's grandfather finally sends for her. She assumes her rightful home and position in England. The real killer confesses to the crime of which Tom was accused, which frees him to be with Susan.
