Synopsis by Hal Erickson
On the previous episode of Survivor: Marquesas, the big twist took place -- one that totally altered the alliances and rivalries established by the remaining contestants on the island of Nuku Hiva. Each contestant was told to stand on a small wooden disc -- and when each got off, he or she found a colored bandanna indicating to which tribe they now belonged. As a result, three members of the Rotu tribe had to join the Maraamu, and vice versa. Once this status quo has been established, all sorts of fascinating complications ensue -- culminating, inevitably, in a fifth castaway being voted off the island. With this episode, Survivor: Marquesas moved back from CBS's Wednesday-evening schedule to its customary Thursday-night slot.
