The seven remaining contestants endure days 27, 28, 29, and 30 of Survivor: The Amazon. Butch Lockley and Matthew Von Ertfelda conspire to form an alliance that will give Alex Bell, Jenna Morasca, and Heidi Strobel a run for their money. After a tasty Reward Challenge, the castaways receive letters from their loved ones, whereupon one of the players is given some sad news. Rob Cesternino must make a major decision as he prepares for the Immunity Challenge. And a third jury member is selected as one of the male players is voted off the island.
