The worst fears of Sally Schumann are realized when she is voted off the island. This leaves a mere seven castaways, including the last carryover from the defunct La Mina tribe, Terry Deitz -- who has made Survivor history by winning his third straight Immunity. Also making history of sorts is the hapless Bruce Kanegai, becoming the second contestant in Survivor's 12-season run to be forced out of the game by a medical emergency (it's constipation, and the pain is palpable). Elsewhere, Courtney Marit proves a most unhappy camper when forced to make several personal revelations during the Reward Challenge; conversely, Cirie Fields seems to be strengthened by the ordeal, not only summoning up the nerve to banish Terry to Exile Island, but also to invite the bickering Aras Baskauskas and Danielle DiLorenzo to share her spa reward. And as usual, Shane Powers throws a tantrum, still convinced that he's perfectly normal and everyone else is crazy. Because of Bruce's involuntary departure, no one is voted off the island at episode's end, which is highlighted by the arrival of a surprise visitor.
