Days four, five, and six pass by for the remaining 17 contestants as Survivor: Palau continues. One of the episode's highlights concerns the efforts to build and maintain a fire without one very necessary implement; another deals with a sudden infestation of rats, thanks to inadequate maintenance of a campsite. Also, the members of the Ulong tribe catch and eat a huge clam -- except for one member who finds the whole rigmarole disgusting. Perhaps significantly, it is this castaway who is voted off the island at the end of the episode.
