Those who made the early cut were permitted to compete for a wild-card entry into the World Championship Tour of Surfing, with the winners reaching Blue-Crush Nirvana at the Roxy Fiji Pro Contest. The series was an agreeable blend of nearly naked women, catfighting, tears, and Runyonesque surfing jargon. And remember: "Surfing isn't just a sport: It's a philosophy."
