Cease-Fire director Tahmineh Milani writes and directs this affectionate family drama about an egotistical movie star who begins to see the error of his ways after a young girl claims to be his long lost daughter. Kurosh Zand (Shahab Hosseini) is on top of the world. He lives the kind of life that most of us could only dream about, but lately his bloated sense of self-importance has been growing out of control. Everything starts to change when a little girl named Raha claims that Kurosh fathered her during a fleeting affair. As Kurosh awaits the results of the paternity test, he invites Raha to live with him. The closer that the actor and the little girl grow, the more Kurosh begins to realize that his extravagant life has been empty up until now.
