Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This delightful vehicle for the delectable Ann Pennington was based on the best-selling novel Calvary Alley. As the resident tomboy of the aforementioned alley, Nan just can't help getting into mischief and as consequence is bundled off to reform school. Upon her release, she lands a job as stenographer at a shoe company, where her childhood sweetheart, now a scientist, is working in the dye department. After inventing a revolutionary new dyeing process, the boy is unable to profit from his discovery when the plans are stolen by the shoe manufacturer's crooked son. Reverting to her adolescent pugnaciousness, Nan is able to corner the duplicitous son and scare a confession out of him.
