This independently produced silent Western starred busy character actor Charles Clary in the title-role, a lawman hired by the railroad company to stop a gang from terrorizing the good people of Shoshone Basin. The leader of the outlaws, David Rand (James Gordon), is married to Sunset's former girlfriend Marion (Irene Rich). Rand kills the sheriff and takes to the hills with Marion as his hostage and Sunset in wild pursuit.
