The heart and soul of Australia comes to the stage in playwright Ray Lawler's operatic drama, and the cameras are rolling to catch every magical minute of the acclaimed 1997 production in this release of a performance originally staged at the Playhouse, Victorian Arts Centre. Elizabeth Campbell, Gillian Sullivan, and Natalie Jones star in the musical drama that is set in Melbourne in the summer of 1953.
