Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Filmmaker Kimon Tsakiris explores the inventive tactics employed by a Greek village in balancing out the female population's alarming urban flight. It seems that the women of Zaharo have grown discontent with rural life. As the modest hamlet's females all set their sights on the big city, the mayor quickly organizes an expedition into Russia in hopes the lovelorn men of Zaharo will find female companionship. Instead, the noble attempt to pair the simple country dwellers with hardened Russian females in search of a better life has unexpectedly disheartening consequences.
