David Douglas' action film Submarines concerns Captain William Arlington, an American submarine captain who is traveling to a court-martial after he rammed into a Russian boat. He is pressed into service, however, when a second Russian sub falls under the control of terrorists. The disgraced captain is the only one with the skill to hunt down the rogue ship.
