Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Seen through the eyes of a 12-year-old boy, this drama shows the feelings and experiences of a small group of Germans in the immediate postwar period. Just after the area has been pacified by American troops, it is once again unoccupied, awaiting the arrival of the Russian occupying force. In the story, a motley group have gathered at a railroad crossing to discuss things and await the arrival of the next group of soldiers.
