Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this rugged drama, strapping William Russell gets to focus on action and downplay the romance and sentiment which had dragged down his recent work. However, with Irene Rich as his co-star, romance was not completely absent. Upon graduating from college, Bruce Duncan (Russell) hears that his sister Linda (Rich) is being harassed by a pair of notorious brothers Bill and Simon Turner (Arthur Morrison and Lester Bates, respectively). Through forgery, the Turners have stolen her father's property. But when Duncan heads West to help her out, he discovers a few interesting facts, not the least of which is that he and Linda are brother and sister by adoption only. A romance blooms between the two as Duncan tracks down the one person left living who witnessed the forgery. The Turners ambush Duncan, but with the help of a recluse, he escapes. Later, with Linda by his side, he finds the missing deed after a howling thunder storm. Another battle with the surviving Turner brother finds Duncan finally victorious.
