Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Directed by Tran Van Thuy, Story from the Corner of a Park chronicles the lives of a Vietnamese couple whose children were born with massive deformities as a result of the various chemical toxins used on Vietnam soldiers during the war. Tran Van Thuy also directed Sound of the Violin in Mai Lai and Story of Kindness or How to Behave, which also center around the suffering inflicted on Vietnamese and American soldiers alike during the war.
