This biopic of renowned Austrian-Jewish author Stefan Zweig (Josef Hader) chronicles his years in exile in Brazil during World War II. Although Zweig tries to build a new life for himself abroad, he remains haunted by the ongoing destruction of Europe and his inability to save his friends and loved ones from the Holocaust.
