Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Sylvia Joy (Shirley Mason) is a cabaret dancer who turns down theatrical producer John Benton (Richard Tucker) in favor of up-and-coming young actor John Warding (Bryant Washburn). Benton wants to split the couple apart and manipulates events so that Warding is fired from the show in which he is performing and blacklisted. Sylvia, meanwhile, becomes a musical comedy star and Warding can't bear to be supported by her, so he leaves. While living in a cheap boarding house, he is befriended by Nan Hartley, a chorus girl (Shannon Day). Benton offers this up as proof to Sylvia that he is unfaithful, and Warding himself is about to tell her that since he is a failure, they should divorce. But a taxi runs him over, and Nan brings Sylvia to him. The couple reconciles and once again Benton is out of luck.
