Synopsis by Mark Deming
Every year, Sports Illustrated takes on the responsibility of bringing together the world's most beautiful models, dressing them up in the hottest swimwear fashions, and photographing the results for the year's most anticipated magazine publishing event. 2004 is no exception, and Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit 2004 is a documentary that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the months of preparation and hard work that go into the magazine's annual swimsuit issue, as well as the lovely women who take center stage in it. Melissa Keller and Jake Johannsen serve as hosts, and Anna Kournikova and Serena Williams appear as special guest models.
