Jerry West is heartbroken when he returns from the war wounded. His sweetheart June Crisp turns him away and expresses a desire to marry a sportsman. June spends her time watching sculling, cricket and tennis competitions while Jerry befriends a little crippled boy. Jerry proves to be the most heroic of the group when he gives blood to save the life of his young friend.
