Synopsis by Rob Ferrier

Spies is a video series dedicated to the secret wars that have raged through the past decades. Through archival footage, interviews with key players, and excerpts from unpublished memoirs and recently declassified sources, this series attempts to put a human face on the missions of men and women who until now have lurked in the shadows. Material from the archives of the CIA, FBI, KGB, and Mossad are used extensively. "License to Kill" covers Russian assassinations, including the death of Leon Trotsky by his own country's government. The second segment. "No Place to Hide," discusses the Israeli Mossad's "Committee X," the lethal band of soldiers that targeted members of Black September, the group responsible for the masacre of eleven Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
