A homeless drifter arrives in the territory controlled by a large landowner. The drifter, who has a son and a daughter, both almost grown, is given work by the landowner. Meanwhile, the landowner's son has fallen in love with the drifter's daughter, though he marries another. After that marriage, the landowner tries to enjoy the girl's favors, and is killed by her brother.
