Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This film, set in 1930s Bulgaria during harvest-time and based on the modern classic novel by Georgi Karslovov, follows a rural landowner who accidentally commits murder, and, despite his best attempts, cannot escape the retribution awaiting him.
