This obscure silent western starred one of the era's many also-ran cowboy heroes, Bill Patton, as a government agent masquerading as a cowboy in order to infiltrate a gang of cattle rustlers. The rustlers, it seems, are selling the fruit of their labor back to the rightful owners! Patton often used some sort of disguise in his films (he went undercover again as a dude in The Last Chance), but his severely limited acting capabilities sorely defeated the purpose.
