Veteran silent screen cowboy Franklyn Farnum played dual roles in this low-budget Western from Phil Goldstone Productions. The Good Franklyn, Smiling Jim, is mistaken for the Bad Franklyn, a dapper villain from the East. After the usual complications, Bad Franklyn is revealed to be Good Franklyn's long-lost twin brother. Alma Bennett, Percy Challenger, and Al Ferguson (as the sheriff) also appeared in the film which was photographed by the experienced Edgar Lyons.
