Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
When Elena, a young girl, confesses to the axe-murder of a local man, the police inspector is at first content that the case is solved. However, when he begins to question the girl about her motive for the murder, he discovers that what at first seemed like a simple case becomes complicated, as she reveals her shocking history as a country girl who is seduced, raped, held captive, tortured and abused by the murdered man.
