Synopsis by Hal Erickson
First seen over Australian televison on May 28, 2007, the animated Skunk Fu! took place in the Valley, where all the anthropomorphic animals lived in peace and harmony until the invasion of the sinister Dragon and his Ninja Monkeys. Master Panda, the sage leader of the Valley Animals, placed the future of his subjects in the hands of his youngest and best martial-artials student, a westerned named Skunk (mainly because that's what he was). Skunk had a double advantage over the villains: Not only was he an expert at Kung Fu, but he also stank to high heaven. For all his ability, Skunk tended to be headstrong and reckless, obliging Master Panda to step-up his training process (in other words, this was Karate Kid with animals). Skunk Fu! was brought to America by CW, which added the half-hour series to the network's "Kid's WB" Saturday-morning manifest on September 22, 2007.
