Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Tom Mix rode again in the brisk Fox western Six-Shooter Andy. When our hero isn't punching cows (and other cowboys), he's busy in the kitchen with Susan, the pretty owner of the local hash-house. Branded an outlaw by the town's corrupt sheriff, Six-Shooter Andy ultimately proves who the real villain is, whereupon the crooked star-packer is duly ventilated with lead. Reviewers were kind, if somewhat condescending, observing that at least Tom Mix looked like a "real Westerner" (which he was, even discounting the phoney-baloney "biography" cooked up by the studio publicists). And besides, Six-Shooter Andy was beautifully photographed and expertly directed, as were most of Mix's best vehicles.
