Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Filmed in locations ranging from Quebec to Cuba, the French-Canadian Simon and the Dream Hunters (Simon les Nuages) is a fanciful children's story that will undoubtedly prove just as entertaining to adults. Young Simon (Hugolin Chevrette-Landesque) isn't altogether pleased with real life. He creates a dream existence of his own, which he calls "the third world." Inviting his friends to share his dreams, Simon embarks upon a delightful, special effects-laden adventure. Though Simon warns his friends that no adults are allowed in The Third World, you're still allowed to take a peek if you happen to be over 18. Simon and the Dream Hunters was followed by a Simon-less sequel, Matusalem.
