Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Loosely adapted from two Japanese pop songs by the band Dreams Come True ("Mirai Yosouzo" and "Mirai Yosouzo II"), Hiroshi Chono's Japanese-language romantic drama Signs of Love observes the romantic vicissitudes of a young couple who meet while enrolled at the same university, and believe wholeheartedly that their love will continue forever, unabated. Sadly, this does not occur; each pursues their own dreams, which leads them down divergent paths and toward an inevitable separation.. In time, however, they find themselves pulled by destiny to an unexpected reunion in Barcelona, Spain, which raises questions in the mind of each lover about the possibility of rekindling old magic.
